Asparagus Casserole
2 cans stem & pieces asparagus (drained, save juice)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 stick of margarine
2 cups crushed saltines
1 cup sharp cheese, shredded
1 pkg. slivered almonds
Melt margarine, add soup and 1 soup can of asparagus juice & blend. Mix
saltines & cheese together. Put layer of asparagus in bottom of
casserole, cover with cracker & cheese mixture, sprinkle some almonds,
ladle soup mixture over this. Repeat layers, ending with cheese &
crackers. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30-40 minutes.
