Velvet Crab
1 lb. fresh crabmeat, well picked
1 pkg. cream cheese, 8 oz
1 cup sour cream (8 oz)
4 T. mayonnaise
1/2 t. lemon juice
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
1 t. dry mustard
3 shakes garlic salt
1/2 cup sharp cheese
2 T. cream sherry
Milk to make creamy
Pick the crabmeat carefully. Place cream cheese and sour cream in microwave on defrost for 4 minutes. Whip with whisk. Add all ingredients except crabmeat. Add crabmeat by folding in gently. Heat in a double boiler. Serve in a chafing dish. Serve with bland crackers.
Makes 4 to 5 cups.
