Peanut Candy Bar Cake
Bottom layer:
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1/3 Cup butter, melted
1 egg
Next layer:
3 Cups miniature marshmallows
Final layer:
2/3 Cup light corn syrup
1/4 Cup butter
2 Cups peanut butter chips
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 Cups Rice Crispy cereal
2 Cups salted peanuts
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. To make bottom layer: Combine cake mix, 1/3 cup butter and egg. Press into 9 x 13 pan and bake in preheated oven for
14 mins.
Next layer: Remove from oven and sprinkle with miniature marshmallows.
Bake for 3 to 4 additional mins,until marshmallows begin to puff.
Final layer: In a saucepan, over medium heat, cook corn syrup, 1/4 Cup butter and peanut butter chips until melted. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla, cereal and peanuts. Spoon mixture over top of marshmallow topped cake and spread to cover.Allow to cool before serving.
