Cookie:
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 cup water
2 1/2 cups uncooked old fashioned or
quick cooking oats
1 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
Drizzle:
1 cup powdered sugar
3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa
1 tsp butter, softened
2 to 3 tbsp milk
Heat oven to 350 F. Combine 1 cup butter and brown sugar in a large bowl. Beat at medium speed until creamy. Add water. Continue beating until well mixed. Reduce speed to low. Add oats, flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt. Beat until well mixed. Shape dough into 1 1/2 inch balls. Dough Will Be Sticky. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets. Flatten to 2 inches in diameter with bottom of glass dipped in sugar. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Let stand for 1 minute. Remove from cookie sheets. Cool completely. Combine all drizzle ingredients Except The Milk in a small bowl. Beat at low speed. Gradually add enough milk for desired drizzling consistency. Drizzle over cooled cookies. Yield: about 2 dozen cookies
