Reese's chewy chocolate cookies

Reese's chewy chocolate cookies
1 1/4 c butter or margarine, softened
2 c sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 c all purpose flour
3/4 cup cocoa
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 2/3 (10 oz) Peanut butter chips
1 cup finely chopped nuts (optional)
Heat oven to 350. Beat butter and sugar till light and fluffy. Add eggs and
vanilla, beat well. Stir together, flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt;
gradually add to butter mixture beating until well blended. Stir in peanut
butter chips and nuts, if desired. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto
ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 9 minutes. (Do not overbake; cookies will
be soft -- they will puff during baking flatten upon cooling.) Cool on cookie
sheet until set, about 1 minute, remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool
completely. makes 4 1/2 dozen cookies.
