1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. margarine or butter
1/4 c. flour
salt & pepper to taste
2 c. milk or chicken broth
(I use 1 of each)
2 c. chopped cooked chicken
minced fresh parsley
In a skillet, saute the onion in margarine until tender. Stir in flour salt and pepper. Gradually add the milk or broth; bring to a boil. Reduce heat Cook until it thickens. Stir in chicken and parsley, heat through.
Biscuits
2 c. flour
1 T. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. milk
1/3 c. oil
Combine flour, salt and baking powder, add milk and oil. Stir until dough forms a ball. Knead 10 times. Roll or pat dough about 1" thick.
Cut into 6 biscuits. Place on greased baking sheet.
Bake at 450* for 10-12 minutes.
Split biscuits and top with creamed chicken
