Polish Potato Casserole
1 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 tablespoons flour
2 cup skim milk
1/2 teaspoons salt
pepper to taste
4 large potatoes -- peeled (optional), and thinly sliced
1 large onion -- thinly sliced
2 cup shredded cabbage
1/2 pounds kielbasa -- sliced
Instructions
Combine first 5 ingredients to make a white sauce. In a lightly sprayed
casserole, layer 1/3 amount each of sauce, potatoes, onion, cabbage and
kielbasa. Repeat 2 more times, ending with sauce. Bake covered at 350°
for 1 hour and 15 minutes until potatoes are tender. Uncover and bake
15 more minutes to brown.
