Serves: 6 Servings
Ingredients:
* 1 c Onion; finely chopped
* 1 tb Butter or margarine
* 2 c Cooked chicken; diced (or turkey, ham, pork or roast beef)
* 1 c Cooked mixed vegetables
* 1 cn Cream of chicken soup; (10 3/4 ounce)
* 1 ts Poultry Seasoning (For Chicken Or Turkey, Only)
* 1 ts Celery salt
* 1/8 ts Black pepper
* 1/2 c Chicken broth
* 1 c Grated Cheddar cheese
Instructions:
Place onion and butter in a 2 quart casserole. Cover with wax paper.
Microwave at high (100%) until tender, 2 to 3 minutes. Combine all
ingredients except cheese, with onions. Cover with wax paper.
Microwave at medium high (70%) until heated through, 12 to 14 minutes.
Sprinkle with cheese. Microwave at medium high (70%) until cheese is
melted, 3 to 4 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
NOTE: If using ham, use cream of asparagus soup. If using leftover
roast pork, use cream of celery soup. If using leftover roast beef,
use cream of mushroom soup.
