2 pounds rump roast
1 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup Mexican seasoning mix
1 tablespoon fresh chopped Mexican Oregano
1 cup fresh diced green chiles, preferably roasted
1 1-pound can tomato sauce
Layer ingredients, meat first, in Crock Pot. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.
Do not stir for first 5 hours. Shred the beef after 7 hours. Serve with warmed flour tortillas, rice, sour cream and fresh cheese and vegetables.
