Salisbury Steak
Left over beef gravy (or jar)
1 lb ground beef
1 egg
1/3 c oatmeal, uncooked (not instant) (I use crackers)
1/4 c chopped onion
1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
Salt & Pepper to taste
Mix beef, egg, oatmeal, onion & Worcestershire sauce together. Brown in lg skillet that has a cover, seasoning on both sides as you turn them. When browned well, add the left over gravy, cover and bring to a high simmer. Lower the heat to just simmer and let them simmer until the
potatoes are peeled and cooked and mashed and ready to eat.
