Ingredients:,
Round Steak, 2 lb
Olive oil, 2 T
Onion, chopped, 1 C
Beef broth, 1 ½ C
Tomatoes, diced & canned, 16 oz
Basil, ½ tsp
Oregano, ½ tsp
Seasoned pepper, ½ tsp
Garlic powder, ¼ tsp
Salt, 1 ½ tsp
Flour, 2 T
Small curd cottage cheese, 1 C
ON HAND: ,
Mozzarella cheese, 1 C
Assembly Directions: Cut steak into 1" cubes & sauté in oil until brown. Add onions & cook 3 min longer. Stir in 1 cup broth, tomatoes & seasonings. Heat to boiling, cover & reduce heat & simmer until steak is tender. Blend flour with remaining broth and add to beef mixture. Cook until thickened. Stir in cottage cheese. Freeze.
Reheat.
