Cranberry-Glazed Appetizer Meatballs
Cranberry-Glazed Appetizer Meatballs
MEATBALLS:
1-1/2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 eggs, slightly beaten
SAUCE:
12 oz. bottle (1-1/2 cups) chili sauce
8 oz. can (about 1 cup) jellied cranberry sauce
Heat oven to 375. In large bowl, combine all meatball ingredients; blend
well. Shape into 1" balls; place on ungreased 15x10" baking pan. Bake 25-30
minutes or until browned and thoroughly baked. In large saucepan, combine
sauce ingredients. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat; simmer 5
minutes, stirring occasionally. Add meatballs to sauce; stir to coat. Cook
over medium heat about 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated, stirring
occasionally. Serve in chafing dish or slow-cooker. Makes 60 meatballs.
